Team
Ron Poon
Co-founder / CEO
Retiring after 39 years as one of Calgary’s best know and respected architects, Poon brings his knowledge and expertise to Devterra Projects. A founding partner of Poon McKenzie Architects, the company was sold to the NORR Architects and Engineering Firm with over 800 employees across 12 market sectors. Poon served as Executive Vice President of Canada before he retired. With a wealth of knowledge in the industry, architect and design, Poon will serve as an integral part of the team.
George Mylonas
CCO
George Mylonas has been President & CEO of Landstar Development Corporation (LDC) since its founding it in 1996. He is a 30-year veteran in Calgary’s real-estate investment community and has additional involvements in philanthropy and the Greek Community both locally and nationally. Over the past 20 years, George has grown the Mylonas assets into a diversified and stable real estate portfolio by operating with patience and prioritizing cashflow, liquidity, and creative understanding of the real estate market and market needs. George has a strong interest and passion for efficient building design, construction methodology, and sustainability features. As President, George oversees overall corporate vision and strategy, and is primarily responsible for relationships with investors, financiers, and the broader Calgary real estate community. With such a broad and vast knowledge base, George is pivotal to the Devterra organization.
Danielle Paul
CFO
Shrewd in business and savvy in design. Her passion as an entrepreneur is evident in the many businesses, she has her hands in. Holding 20 years’ experience as CEO, of the successful Design Firm, Designers Edge, which is a thriving and trend setting interior design business with a deeply decorated builder and client list, she is a visionary leader and strong advocate for woman in business. In addition, she holds ownership of Ateliers Jacob in Western Canada , an innovative company, specializing in kitchen and bathroom cabinet design and manufacturing. Further to that, she is an active partner in Quarter Park Management, which is a thriving Condominium Management Company and recently partnering again to open Westfolio Property Management which closes the gap between Condominium and Property Management. She currently holds a license in Property Management and oversees builder/developer client relations. Danielle wholeheartedly believes in the principles of positivity, manifestation, and teamwork, and attributes those fundamentals to her success. She plans to bring all that and her acute business skills to Devterra Projects to ensure its success for all investments..
